New Type of Career Fair
I recently came across this article in the online ED week magazine. The Kansas Education Employment board used Second Life to conduct a virtual career fair. About nine people particiapted in this fair. They have yet to say how successful it was, but left this video on how they conducted it. Will this be our future?

That’s so cool. I think it’s a different way of presenting a Career Fair but I don’t think it will replace the other one where students physically participate in one. Pretty cool though!

I am not sure if the video really showed the power of virtual interaction…right now I agree this tool is not very appropriate in terms of hands on. However the networking aspect is very powerful.
